Komakech Denish
Executive Chairperson
Denish has spent the past seven years implementing programs for a number of different NGOs operating in his home of Northern Uganda. With a passion for developing his community from the bottom up, he focuses his time on supporting youth and developing the skills needed to become successful adults. He has led projects on business skills, farmer field school, climate smart agriculture, child protection, and Gender Based Violence. He is excited to lead Innovative Youth Uganda as its Executive Chairperson.

Okot Morrish
Executive Coordinator
Okot Morrish joins the Innovative Youth Uganda team as a passionate community development worker with over four years experience in the implementation of both for[profit and non-profit donor funded projects. While developing projects, Morrish specialized in environmentally sustainable crop and animal production, business support linkages, selection planning, and management of income-generating activities, conditional and unconditional cash-based interventions, disability inclusive ultra-poor graduation, transformational savings, life skills, and financial literacy. Morrish commits to using his background in development to create positive development in the community through the meaningful participation of youth and active young adults.

Okema Dick
Executive General Secretary
Okema Dick is an active and passionate youth leader. He is the Vice Chairperson Lamwo District Youth council and Northern region coordinator for Uganda University Debate council. He is also a human rights activist who advocates for youth involvement in government programs. Dick holds a Bachelor of science in Education (Biology).

Lanyero Prossy Linda
Executive Treasurer
Lanyero Prossy Linda has a passion for data analytics with experience in data management, monitoring and evaluation, human resource management and accounting. She has worked with Uganda Electoral Commission, Lutheran World Federation and Five Talents Financial Service Uganda. Her presence represents a million young girls in Uganda who believe they will become leaders in their communities. Linda uses her standing in the community to mentor girls who were not given the opportunity for a proper education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Makerere University.

Ongwec Alfred
Executive Member
Ongwec Alfred is an enthusiastic individual who cares deeply about the social well-being of every youth. He believes that the primary well-being of every body is a better health, and he advocates for Reproductive Health Right, which is the main challenge for rural youth especially young girls. Alfred is the Executive member.
